Omaxe Group’s ₹2500 Crore Sports Complex in Dwarka
The Omaxe Group is collaborating with the DDA to develop a project in the Dwarka area of Delhi through the public-private partnership model.
The upcoming Omaxe State development in Dwarka will be a comprehensive destination that combines sports, retail, hospitality, dining, and cultural experiences. It will include a modern stadium that caters to both cricket and football.
The Omaxe Group, headquartered in Delhi, has announced plans to invest ₹2500 crore in a large-scalearka, which will feature a combination of commercial and sports facilities spread across 50.4 acres of land, as revealed on September 2.
The company anticipates be finished by 2027 and is projected to yield more than ₹4,200 crore entire duration, according to a statement released by the company.
Omaxe has unveiled a new development, The Omaxe State, which features a multi-faceted complex that includes a sports stadium, shopping area, and a hotel. The project will also include a stadium that can accommodate both cricket and football matches, as well as indoor gaming facilities, according to the company.
The Proposed Site for the Project?
The company stated that the project, which will be situated in19-B of New Delhi, is being created in collaboration with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) through a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement. The investment for this project is expected to exceed ₹2500 crore.
The Omaxe State is set to showcase a state-of-the-art ICC International cricket and football stadium, capable of seating more than 30000 people. Additionally, there will be an international-sports indoor arena with a capacity for 2000 spectators.
The Omaxe State will boast a diverse range of districts, including a sports hub, retail zone, hospitality area, culinary quarter, and social precinct. The culinary quarter, drawing inspiration from London’s iconic Covent Garden and Carnaby Street, will cover an expansive 5 lakh square feet and offer a vibrant array eateries, nightclubs, sports bars, three drive-through eateries, a spacious food court, rooftop eateries, food stalls, food trucks, and banquet facilities, as outlined by the company in a statement.
In addition to its retail offerings, the complex will boast a members-only sports and leisure club, a000 sq. ft. gaming arena, and a 148-room hotel. The development will also include a spacious banquet hall, a a versatile event venue for social gatherings and cultural celebrations, as well as an Olympic-sized swimming, including tennis, badm and football courts.
